I'd haul it in my Sportswork receiver hitch rack. No need to remove a wheel, super quick to use, low lift, very stable, and built pretty skookum (an Alaskan term meaning tough or strong).

I have three

1. Hollywood team rider, with this rack you don't have to remove the front wheel. Great for dual crowns downside the 2 bike version weighs about 60 lbs add another 40 lbs for the 4 bike version

2. Swagman hitch rack. works great for bikes with normal top tubes, will probably drag the front wheel going down piedmont mortimer road.

3. cheap hollywood 2 arm rack for my car. defintiely drags the front wheel on piedmont mortimer rd.

Yakima King Cobra roof rack. It even carries my M1. It's very easy to load too.
