| Rocks in my Blur frame... any suggestions? | micstew Jan 19, 2004 1:05 PM | | (Also posted in new forum...)
When I saw reviews stating that the Blur eats up rocks, I didn't realize it was meant it so literally. Does anyone out there have a slick method for removing small rocks from inside the Blur chainstays ? I have tried at length to shake/pull/beg them out the rear openings near the dropouts but the rocks are just slightly too big. I do plan to seal the frame hole at the lower front of the rear triangle (the suspected entry point for these evil little rocks and as far as I'm concerned a minor design flaw in the frame) but I'm not yet sure if that is S.C. approved maneuver. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated (especially those not involving complete removal of the rear tri.) Thanks.
What also floats in water?... Bread! Apples! Uh, very small rocks?...

Hopefully you can get a decent answer (better than mine anyway) from either here or SC. |

We fixed this by getting the filings as close to the whole as possible and squirting crazy glue in. |
