ALL I EVER HEAR OR READ ABOUT,IS ANOTHER SET OF TRAILS THAT ARE CLOSED DOWNI DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME TRAILS AT CERTAIN AREAS ARE CLOSED BUT THE TRAIL RIGHT NEXT TO IT ISNT.THE POLICE SAY EROSION,WHAT?ITS THE SAME DIRT THAT IN THE TRAILS THAT ARE OPEN,IT MAKES NO SENCE.I THINK SOMEONE JUST DOESNT LIKE THE SPORT AND IS PULLING RANK.I WOULD REALL LIKE TO SEE THE TRAILS STAY OPEN,AND YOU KNOW ID EVN HELP PEOPLE KEEP THEM IN TACT IF THATS WHAT IT CAME DOWN TO.

Then learn to write and spell in English.

Parallel and duplicative trails are often closed to prevent the proliferation of a 'spider web' trail network. This is good trail management and is supported by all responsible bike riders.

One trail may be built to proper standards and would be considered sustainable, while the other trail may be built improperly and prone to erosion.

Get involved in trail work. This will allow you to dictate not only the continuation of trail that you currently ride, but a voice in what type of new trails are incorporated in to your existing trail system. Check out http://www.imba.com/contacts/near_you.html to find an IMBA club near whom with you can volunteer for trail work..
