Are mountain bikes allowed on the SC Foothills Trail?DudeOnABike

I'm gonna be near this weekend, so I just wondered if I could bike it. The info isn't on the web anywhere. Thanks.

I don't think they are allowed on the Foothills Trail. The foothills are one area of SC where MTB access suffers.

I'd go over to DuPont State Forest in NC and ride. Or Pisgah NF near Brevard.

Yeah, i'm going to Pisgah on sunday, and wanted to squeeze a night ride in on saturday night. Foothills trail was a logical place since its about 2 minutes from where i'm staying that night, but I guess I'm out of luck. Oh well, I'll just find somewhere else. Thanks.
