Calling Preacher...Dances With Hornets

Preacher,

We need a Holy Man at our 2004 Mountain Bike Pow Wow. How about I comp you an entry?

BobL did it last year, he didn't officially enter but we decided to award him a finisher Coup Feather and T-shirt anyway - hell he's Bobnoxious! It was good to see Bob participating with all his past Coup Feathers on his camelback.

Competitor Magazine called our 52 mile, 11,000 feet of total elevation gain and 2 mile hike-a-bike Vision Quest Event "Off the Charts" on an article about the 10 toughest endurance events in California. Heres the link to the event (shameless plug).

We also have the shorter Counting Coup Event, 40 miles with 8,000 feet of climbing (another shameless plug):

So if your interested email me and let me know.

Say a few prayers for me tomorrow in Church Preacher!

Thanks for the invite, but I must decline. The Preacher

With work, family, and my local advocacy efforts, I'm lucky to even get out of the house -- let alone out on by bike -- twice a week. The last thing I want to do is to commute for hours through the pits of L.A., just to rub elbows (and God forbid, be associated with) a bunch of irrational zealots.

Also, the holy man/church crap is just silly. I don't have time to dig up the history of my nickname on socalmtb.com, but if you don't know what I'm preaching about by now, then you're on the wrong message board.
