This forum.
No other site I have visited has so many posts on their forums. And none of them have anywhere near the amount of specific questions answered the way you guys at MTBR have.

I may be critical, but you guys really do deserve credit for actually looking at and answering posts and comments...

THANK YOU!!! now go post some Giant VT pics.. :) sorry couldn't resist...
thanks for the thanks...gregg

...and thanks for realizing that yes, we are the only site with a dedicated Interbike message board, and that we make efforts to answer questions, pic requests etc...

It's always a love/hate thing after Interbike, and the message board is great for taking requests and answering questions, but it's also the place for people to come and complain about what a poor job we do, and how MTBR has "sold out" etc, etc, etc... Or other sites to come and spam this board to promote their sites. I've witnessed the same thing on this board for the last 3 years running.

I think Holycow touched on something below about setting Interbike expectations that I'll be sure to keep in mind next year. And I've also attempted to answer some criticisms earlier on.

In the end, I realize that the old saying "you can't please everyone..." is true. And that a lot of people don't realize what goes into covering an event like this. And that maybe we should do a better job of setting expectations, and possibly leverage more help from the community.

I actually don't mind the complaints/criticisms when people at least tell us WHY they think the coverage is not good. But people who just come in and say "this sucks" without any explanation, doesn't help anyone.

Thanks again, for the compliment, and I'll see if I can find any Giant VT pics!
