| How to measure rear wheel travel | Juan Oct 18, 2001 7:10 PM | | I understand how the front fork's travel is measured, but I can't figure out a way to do the same for the rear suspension. I've been trying to measure the distance from the bottom of the seat to the ground at fully compressed position to resting position. Is this it, or is there a "more correct" way of doing this? |

Do it a few times to be sure. With some bikes, you can do this with bike upside down on ground resting on its saddle and handlebars, and just do everything in reverse. |
