Oct 19, 2001 2:09 PM | | I just switched out the stock fork boots on my '01 Elite for the new shorter boots. After re-installing the uppers and lowers and tightening everything up, I'm noticing every time I lift the front wheel when riding, there's play in the shock. It feels like something's loose in there. I didn't have this problem before I took the uppers and lowers apart.
The shock works fine other than that.
I'm wondering if I did something wrong when I re-installed. This is the first time I've taken this shock apart.
