100mm fork on Giant NRS XTC?(3 posts)

100mm fork on Giant NRS XTC?dp

Anyone have experience using a 100mm fork on a Giant NRS? I currently use a Mars Elite, but want a more effective fork for really gnarly, rough/rocky stuff. Perhaps a stouter 80mm fork such as Marzocchi Atom Race/Duke Race/80mm Manitou Black? Any experience or suggestions would be appreciated.

I just built up a NRS frame including a Psylo SL set at 110mm - awesome, it sucks up everything and you can lock out on the climbs. Head angle doesn't seem to be a big problem as the fork will sag when you sit on it. I def. recommend the Psylo.

Thanks for the info, I just ordered the new 2002 Marzocchi MXR that is adjustable from 80mm to 100mm. Hope to have similarly nice results.
