| 1997 Judy XC Parts | EagerBeaver Oct 21, 2001 8:12 AM | | The top tube assembly on each side of this shock has a 22mm plastic hex nut (see photo). After removing these many times the corners are gone so I can't get them off this time without destroying them. Anyone know if these can be ordered and if so how much they would cost? IMHO, plastic nuts seem like a really bad idea.

The garbage top-caps are still used today, but if you've stripped them (like most other Judy owners) you can order another set from RochShox through your LBS for about $15. Aftermarket replacement Aluminum top-caps are/were available at one time for around $50, which is insane. Try fid somebody who has an old Judy lying around who might give/sell you the parts. I'd give you mine, but they're also trashed.
Good luck! |

I know this doesn't answer your question about where to get a replacement, but hopefully, you'll at least be able to service the fork until you find some.
