Manitou Magnum right vs left leg.(1 post)

Manitou Magnum right vs left leg.drsam

At the advice of Heff below, I managed to download the service manual for the Manitou Magnum shock.

After reading it thouroughly I am left with the impression that all the action seems to be in the left leg only. Does the right leg do anything?

This leads to the next question. Is it possible to replace the right leg internals with left leg internals and thus effectively an MCU and coil spring on both sides, and if so, what would be the effect on performance?

Thanks,

Sam
