Manitou SX-R question/problem(3 posts)

Manitou SX-R question/problemJimW

Yesterday, the rebound damping adjuster (the black knob at the bottom of the right leg) on my fork FELL OUT. (Found it, though)

I finished the ride not noticing any difference in performance, no leaking oil, no other parts littering the trail.

My question is:
Assuming I have my fork set up where I like it, how important is this adjuster ? Is it something I should get fixed pronto, or can it wait?

Thanks,

Jim

The knob is held in by friction, and they do fall out, sometimes. It's not a big deal.....even if you were to lose it, you can adjust your rebound with a 4mm allen wrench, just slide it in where the knob goes.
