weight and frame geometry. I have a SC superlight and and travel should be limited to 100mm for aggressive XC riding for that frame's geometry. If you're a freerider and need the 125mm a psylo offers then go for it. Hope this helps

I tried running it in the 125mm mode and just left it there. I have to concentrate a little more on weighting the front end on a steep climb, but otherwise it's great. I don't see alot reason for the Duke when the P-Race is out there--maybe a little less money. The bike still corners like it's on rails and almost makes the Superlight into a freeride bike with 5" in front when you head downhill.
That's great but the frame wasn't designed to run...timmy

a shock over 100mm. Besides raising the head angle too much there will be bobbing while climbing (even with lock out) and steering will be compromised.
It works fine--here's why.TNC

If you set the sag a little lower as you usually do with a longer travel fork, you don't really get a full inch higher bike. The P-Race is a pretty plush fork unless you use high pressure. This fork settles quite nicely, making the bike very manageable. Look...a 5" fork on a 4" travel bike may not be for everybody, but it's quite do-able. Another point is the fact that you don't always have to run it at 5". One can set it for 4" most of the time, and then go to 5" for a special application--like Moab or something--or if you go to another bike.

Also if you use Psylo Race in 125mm travel setting you can lover your front end by increasing sag. I myself had SID100 and sag was a bit over 20mm. Now I have Psylo Race (125mm) and with Race about 35mm.
