Fox spring numbers...(3 posts)

Fox spring numbers...alibi
Dec 19, 2001 12:40 PM
I know what the numbers mean, but I have springs that show the second number as 1.63, and some that say 160 (note the missing decimal point). Does 160 mean 1.60, or are there other units of measure being used here? I have several like this, and none appear to be as a result of the "." being worn off. Thanks in advance.
both the same most likely...zedro

that number refers to how much the spring can compress. That would mean those springs can be compressed by 1.63" and 1.60" respectively. My spring lacks the decimal point too.
Thanks!!...I was guessing it was the same. (nm)alibi
