| any valve stem work in shock? | NWO Dec 20, 2001 11:42 AM | | my stratos helix pro takes has a shrader valve which I think is leaking. Does it take a special valve stem to take the pressure(around 200psi)? If so is it something I can find at an automotive/motorcycle store? |
| auto valve should work fine. | Mossy Dec 20, 2001 1:57 PM | | A pal did that with his Fox Float shock -- no problems. |
| re: any valve stem work in shock? | WaveDude Dec 21, 2001 6:40 AM | | I vaguely remember someone (maybe Randolph) saying that they used schrader-valves meant for aircraft tires. They can hold way more pressure. But I guess there are some diesel trucks out there running high pressure to so maybe one of those would work too? |
