Z1 MCR, that replaced my Manitou Pro LTS (98, no adjustment, 3")
My wife rides a Manitou Magnum (3"...the best entry level fork I've seen)
My Bud on his 98 Joshua rides a 2001 Psylo Sl (still no bushing probs...maybe it's not every 2001???...please respond to that)
My other bud rides a Sugar with a brand new a(2 weeks old) Super Xvert
Each of these (minus the magnum) seem to be excellent forks...proving that name brand recomendations only come from people who own the particular fork (as I can tell)

Have a '00 Z1CR (love it) on my Schwinn Moab and have a Shiver SC coming on my Brodie Holeshot early next month (it had better be next month cause I'm already spending too many late nights falling asleep looking at my baby in the Brodie catalogue......)

Cheers

I ride a 2000 X-vert w/ alloy steerer. Awesome fork for the money.

My wife has a Judy XLC (dual crown) on her FS rig. Kind of overkill for her, but it came with the bike and does its job well.

Used to have a Manitou SX-something on my old hardtail (it's still in the family somewhere). I loved it but it was not nearly enough fork for my FS bike. Kept going over the handlebars (or at least feeling like I was going to). If you only need 80mm though, it was great.

I've got a 00 Manitou Xvert DC (jacked out to 145mm).
My girlfriends bike has a Pace RC35, carbon fibre solid MCU fork. Looks good, nice and light (3lb with short steerer) but rides like a solid MCU fork and is way too soft for anything but a beginner.

Other bikes around the garage, 95 manitou magnum converted to EFC. Still rides really well for a 3 inch fork.
My sisters bike, 94 RS Quadra 10 with RST coil springs. It sucks, it really does but the coil springs let it work on small stuff.
