Anyone own a new 2002 z1 freeride? Looking to upgrade to it and want feedback from owners. How do you like the ecc? Looking to put it on a Titus Switchblade.

I have one. Very good fork. I had a 2000 Z-1 CR and it's really no better. The ECC has no use for me, because it makes it a rigid fork when lock down. Only good on slow smooth climbing. Then it does work great. Lets you climb better.

It's a good fork. I only have a 4" Z3 to compare it to, but I love the smooth travel. ECC works fine, but I rarely use it. It does what it's supposed to do when I do use it though.
