Rear shock pressure & set back seat postGary

I have a Santa Cruz Heckler with Fox Float R that I used to run 85lbs. air(I weigh 165), bought Raceface XY (setback where previous post was straight) and I am now up to 110lbs. pressure to get the same sag, etc. Anybody else notice this much change? Shock isn't leaking.
Nothing scientific, but it does make senseShakazulu

I too have a Heckler, but I run a Vanilla R. I did notice that after I slid my seat further back on the rails, the shock did sag more. What you're seeing is due to an increase in the "moment" arm with respect to the main pivot. Longer moment = smaller force required to create the same amount of torque, thus creating more sag. You do need to pump up the shock to counteract the effect.

Peace.
