| Question on Marzocchi "Thru-axle"... | mtbr22 Apr 7, 2002 9:44 AM | | Hey, i know this is probably a stupid question, but i'll ask it anyways. Whats the point of a thru-axle on shocks? I'm looking at a 2001 Marzocchi Z3 shock, and i was wondering how your supposed to mount a normal wheel/hub on a fork with this thru-axle. Any info would be great thanks! |
| All about stiffness.. | HooKooAl Apr 7, 2002 10:26 AM | | Thru-axles simply help to stiffen the fork. In order to use a fork with a 20mm thru-axle you'll need a specific hub, it won't work with a normal hub.
