The 2001 comes with 80 or 63mm of travel and as far as I am aware, at least in the UK anyway, is not available after market and is specced OEM. It is a budget fork, heavy (about 4.5 pounds), with adjustable preload, and is fairly stiff with the improved lower casting (over the 2000 Judys). The damping is non adjustable though, so if you can get hald of an '01 XC or SL, which does have adjustable damping and 63/80/100mm of travel I think you would appreciate it. The SL is a lot lighter though with the alu stanchions and steerer. |
