| Did I screw up? | Kitchenware Apr 8, 2002 10:02 AM | | Ok, I've rebuilt a shock, taken apart air forks etc... Today I'm playing around with my Float RC because it needs new spacers and a new sleeve so I'm looking for a way to remove said sleeve. (I know how now) I opened what I thought might have been a set screw for the sleeve (stupid me, it wasn't) but when I opened it, I released some pressure and now my shock is all squishy sounding and my lock-out bleeds off. Did I fark up, is this pressurized at the factory, or can I fix it?

| DAMN! I was afraid of that. | Kitchenware Apr 8, 2002 10:32 AM | | year and a half old with no maint, so it's probably time to do that anyway. (that's what I'm telling myself anyway)

| I think ..... | Kel Apr 8, 2002 10:19 AM | | I was looking at this the other day on my shock. On the upgrade model to your shock this is where they put the rebound adjuster. So on the lower model they just plug it. It sounds to me like you have released the pressure. As for putting it back in???? Sorry can't help ya. I suspect it will have to be a factory service. |
