plunger rod installation for 2000 judy(2 posts)

plunger rod installation for 2000 judyconfused
Apr 8, 2002 6:16 PM
i just changed the oil and travel in my 2000 judy race and i fear that i may have accidentally switched the plunger rods in the right and left legs. i replaced the rebound adjuster knob and it turned about 200° without resistance until it hit the tab for my wheel, instead of the usual 90°. does that mean that i switched the plungers, or that i screwed something else up? i really don't feel like draining my oil again just to take a peek. can i simply switch the shaft bolts on the right and left legs? any suggestions are appreciated.
You realy dont have much choice,Masked Biker

Without knowing which assembly went into what leg, it's imposible to tell what leg to put how much oil into, or which to use for the rebound adjuster.
