My fork just started to creak when I turn the bars back and forth. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks Scott

loose or shot headset?
cable housing rubbing?
bad bar/stem interface?
cracked headtube?
Try to narrow it down by close inspection, and try to eliminate one by one and see if the noise is still there. Take apart, clean and lube and reassemble everything, especially repack the headset with fresh grease after a good cleaning, unless it's shot - in that case: get a new one.

Could be other things as well...
PBK could be right...mtnpat

...recently I experienced the same type creaking when turning. Turned out to be where the cable end fit into the cable stop on the front of the frame. A little grease and no more creaking when turning.

Well, what type off fork? Might be the stanchions creaking in the crown, I've seen Marzocchi and Sids do this. If you take the wheel out and flex the fork legs vigorously to and fro and If you hear creaking, it would most probably be the stanchion-crown. If no noise try the head-set.
