Bolt on Marz Oil Change (2000 Z5)(4 posts)

I have a 2001 "M" arch Z1. I know how to do oil changes and what not. My friend (who has neither shock experience, or an owner's manual) has a 2000 Z5 with the bolt on arch that we're going to overhaul...he's been riding for 1.5 years and was shocked when I told him about the tune-up times. Are the oil levels and oil change procedures the same with both forks?

Marz's new site seems to be very user-unfriendly, and I can't find downloadable tech manuals

try this page: http://marzocchimtb.com/tech-tuning/index.html

Marzocchimtb.com is the US site, with tech support, etc.
Marzocchi.com is the international site. That might have been the trouble. Good luck.
thanks, that's it (nm)Sofa

the oil itself will be the same but the amount of oil required is directly proportionate to the amoun of travel the fork has so a z5's will be differnt to a z1's.
