I'm considering maybe the Psylo Race or SL or maybe the Manitou Black Elite. Any comments on these or suggestions for other good forks that allow travel adjustments? I do like the Marzocchi Marathon but it's rather pricey. As always thx =)

I'm a huge fan of the psylo line. I wouldn't recommend the race just because it's an air fork, and I have had bad experiences with air suspension. If you want lockout, the SL is a good choice, but the "Pure Damping" system is prone to failure and it is absolutely necessary to keep up on the maintenance and regular rebuild cycles. If you don't need lockout, the XC is much more durable (hydracoil instead of pure damping) and feels about the same. The black forks feel great, but I haven't been working with them long enough to know how well they hold up. I haven't been impressed with Manitou's durability and quality of design in the past, but the Black sure feels nice.
