80mm vs. 100mm(1 post)

80mm vs. 100mmBen S

Alright, I've narrowed down my choices for my C-dale Super V. If I stay with 80mm I can upgrade my fork to a lighter, more adjustable air headshok. It is only worthwhile to go with another brand to get additional travel. I ride mostly flat, but technical terrain - lots of roots, logs, ridges, etc. Will a 100mm travel fork help with riding such terrain or is any more than 80mm only beneficial for DH or freeriding?

Thanks.
