I spoke with a tech at Rock Shox and explained to him the problem, he told me to take out the damper and check to make sure it's in working order, then reassmble putting the lower legs on only up to the top bushing then pour the oil in through the bottom of the leg. Slowly push the legs down, so as not to squirt oil everwhere in case you go to fast and reinstall bolts. VIOLA!!! Works like it was brand frikken new. If your friend hasn't figured it out have him try this, it's pretty easy to do by ones self. If you have any questions e-mail me. Good ridng. |
