does anybody know of any modifications for the 2002 Jr. T's (i.e. reduce flex, reduce spiking at high speed)?? thanks...

get 2003 parts; of course you'll need all of them ;)

if spiking is a BIG problem, you can drill a 1mm hole at the bottom of the damping rods. Unfortunatly theres not much you can change on this fork. Maybe a brake booster for flex?

How much do you know about this? Have you tried it personally or have some first-hand knowledge on this mod? It sounds logical for the spike issue on this fork, but any downsides that were noticeable after?

another mod is to replace the little valve ring with a different size (not recommended by Marz) to give different effects.

The downside is it can change your damping overall too, although a 1-1.5mm hole isnt gonna be that noticible. My LBS told me they had one guy that kept wanting more holes so in the end, the fork was barely damped. Although he was happy.
Thanks, I'm gonna do it.TNC

I think it's worth a go at least--the drilling mod that is. It's a simple enough deal. I'll report how it goes.
