switching lowers from a '00 Marzocchi Z1 to a Junior T??jsarcione

Is it possible to switch the lower legs from a '00 Z1 with QR20 to a '00 Junior T with regular quick release so the Junior T now has QR20 instead of regular quick release. The lowers look exactly the same. Are all the internals the same? If so........does anyone have a '00 Junior T they want to sell cheap?!?!

It would bolt together fine, but the damping in the z1 is superior to the jr's. I would look on ebay for a '99 mr t. a qr version of this fork can be found for between 260-290. The internals are catridges like your z1, and it gets 5 inches of travel. I have done similar things a few times with success.
Personally though I wouldn't ruin such a classic fork, the 2000 z1 qr20 is one of the greatest single crown forks ever produced by any company. Replacement parts are readily available from BTI, a distributer that many bike shops buy from. You can even retrofit a compression cartridge or an ecc cartridge in one of the legs.
