I just ordered a 2002 Z1 Wedge w/ 5" of travel from pricepoint.com.
I am paying $300.43 for the fork, shipping and COD charges It comes with a FREE cane creek c2 headset!
did I get a deal or did I get jacked?

Now is not the time to be wondering about this!!!...Squash

you already ordered the fork! Kinda late to be having second thoughts ain't it!!! You should have come here and asked this question FIRTS! To put your mind at ease, you paid a reasonable price for the fork, headset, shipping, and COD charges combined. Not a stellar deal, but a reasonable one. As far as the Wedge goes it is a basic and relaiable long travel single crown fork. It doesn't use the better damping system of the Z1 Free Ride nor come with the ECC system and therefore is cheaper in price. The only adjustments on the fork are oil height and internal rebound damping adjustments. The fork is solid and performs well enough and is Marzocchi tough. Next time though, come here and ask these questions BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR ORDER IN!!! Might save you some hassle later on. You got a reasonable deal, and are getting a good relaible fork. The head set isn't the greatest, but they are serviceable and fairly durable.
