Anyone ridden one yet? They've just popped up on Supergo recently, and look great. But, who wants to buy a fork that has no reviews yet.
Any opinions out there?

I've got the same question as you, but also some reason to be optimistic about the Skareb.

I haven't ridden any of the Fox forks yet, but of all of the many RS, Manitou and Marzocchi's I've tried, I found the Manitou Mars Comp Coil to have the best overall performance -- and at a suprisingly low weight (lighter even than a lot of air forks). It seems that the new Skareb Comp is basically the same thing, but with updated seals and more stiffness thanks to the reverse arch.

At about $240, it could turn out to be a great choice for XC racing and trail riding...

Nice fork. Acutally like it better than my 2002 Atom Race 80mm.

I have the Skareb Comp Coil, it came on my Epic.

The steering is noticability better than my Atom, much more precise. The fork is also very plush, every bit as nice as a coil Marzocchi. Seems like a bargain at half the price of the Atom.

I think the Skareb is lighter than the Atom too!

For the record, I've been riding Suspension forks since the Manitou 1. I'm a Clydesdale.
