Help 02 Psylo Race wont hold negative airstriker
Oct 19, 2002 4:41 AM
My 02 Psylo Race won't hold it's negative air. Just riding along and it blew on a decent hit. The gray bushing/ring on the top of the leg pops out when I try to reapply negative air pressure.

What do I need to do or replace? Bushing kit? Just the o rings?

Also, where do the spacers go to change the travel on the Psylo Race?
Should be just O-ringsSunny

I take it the gray bushing that you speak of is the dust wiper. There are two O-rings in the negative air chamber:

a #115 O-ring (3/32" x-section and 11/16" I.D.)
a metric O-ring (3mm X-sec and 10mm I.D) Had this one sized at the O-ring shop.

During my last rebuild I replaced all the O-rings ...that is why I have the numbers. I had asked the bike shop about the o-ring kit from RS and was given an astronomical number. I think the total cost for the O-rings that I bought from the was less than $10 and I have enough parts for several more rebuilds.

The list of O-rings:
#017
#021
#115
#206
#208
metric 3mm x.c. 10mm ID
Should be just O-ringsstriker
