Lube for wipers/stanchions?(4 posts)

Lube for wipers/stanchions?metricEee

Hey all,
I was just wondering what people were using to lube their wipers/stanchions? I've tried some teflon fortified lubes, but they always end up leaving a mess and increasing stiction after awhile. I've found that a few drops of fork oil seems to work the best, but I was just wondering if anyone has found anything better.

I usually wipe a thin amount of slick honey on the stanctions. Seems to work well.

I use the cheap automotive silicone spray. Works great and lasts. It will attract dust so if you ride in a real dusty place then you will have to wipe the fork down after your ride.

Use Finish Line teflon spray around the seals. Pump the fork 4-5 times. Wipe off the excess material and go. Your fork should work fine if you do this after each ride. It does for me, at least...
