I have heard second hand of several C-9's failing with less than 50 hours of usage.
The C-9 performed great until this weekend. Bike is a Motlite, rider 200lbs (equipped), riding agressive XC.
Any thoughts or feedback appreciated.

Oct 21, 2002 8:20 AM | | I have a cloud 9 and ad12 and have never had any problems, but whatever is happening with yours can be easily fixed i would bet. just take off the rebound and compression adjustment dials and then unscrew the air sleeve and check the seals. worst case scenario is you need the rebuild kit for $10. probably you just need to put the o-ring back into its groove and relubricat the whole sliding area. use slick honey on anything that seals, slides or rotates. |
