We got a new Gemini at the shop today. The fork doesn't come mounted in the frame. I put it on the digital scale with the 20mm axle, and got 5 lbs. and 11 oz. The Answer site claims 5.5 lbs. (5lbs., 8oz.) so they're only 3 oz. light--not too bad. I'm curious as to whether 20mm axle forks should be weighed with the axle. Of course they come with the fork, because of the differences in the lowers from brand to brand and sometimes model to model, but realistically they're part of the hub.
Still sounds lighter than the Z150...daveM

I've heard that the 6" SC Z1 is supposed to be a real porker at around 6 and 1/4 # I still am planning on getting one though, sounds like a great trail fork for a Bullit.

Yeah, I think that would be a good fork for your bike. That's what I'm putting on the Chamuco. They are saying late January, I have 4 on order. Are you riding tomorrow? Sounds like it's going to be a beautiful day.
