| Fox Float 100 RLC vs. 2003 Duke Race 100 | el_grande Jan 8, 2003 2:11 PM | | Does anybody have any experience on the 03 Duke Race 100? I have ridden the 02 Fox Float 100 quite a bit and love it, but now that I am shopping for a fork apparently my timing is off as Fox is not shipping these forks yet. I am curious if the 03 Duke Race is a suitable replacement to the Fox in both performance and stiffness. If you have evaulated these forks please help! Thanks! |

I brought the Duke so I could replace the Sid on a new NRS Air with a stiffer/longer travel fork but still retain the remote handlebar lokout that came with the sid.- so I had to stick with RS- maybe if cash/ compatibility/stock(also not in NZ yet) wasnt an issue I may have gone Fox-I think they are a bit more reliable long term, as we do see a few new RS coming back to the workshop with dampning probs- not major just annoying stuff.- but you do pay more for a fox. but they are very similar though with features and performance.
Hope this helps.

| Thank you for the information | el_grande Jan 9, 2003 10:15 AM | | From what you say, the Duke Race sounds like a good option if Fox doesn't produce any Floats before my patience runs out. Thats good to hear. |
