I just purchased a GT Avalanche 1.0, which is equipped with Rock Shox Judy TT forks.
I had a look at the owners manual, and it says that after every 20 hours of riding the forks need to be disassembled, and all the parts be cleaned, lubricated, etc.
I don't have to pull apart the shocks on my car every 20 hours, and I believe Rock Shox cost even more than car shocks!! :) Maybe it's a typo, 200 hours would be reasonable i suppose.
Can anyone give me a reasonable guide on how to maintain, and when they would need to be pulled apart, etc.
