the fork is a 1999. It's been in a box at the shop for 3 years. Do I need to be concerned about the quality of the oil, or anything else? The shock seems to move very smoothly with the air out - as smoothly a my 2000 SID. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.

Go ahead and put it on. The oil will be fine.
