Does anyone know how much the 03' Talas RLC fork weighs? I'm trying to decide between the Talas RLC or the regular Float RLC. Thanks

3.8-3.9lbs, a tad heavier than the Float due to the extra hardware for travel adjustment. I'd get the Talas, even without factoring in the easy travel adjustment, the linear spring rate is worth the price and weight difference in my opinion.

one more questionRDC

My bike is a 01' Diamondback XSL Race, just upgraded to a Cloud 9 and now the bike sits higher in the back slightly because the shock is longer and mounted in the longer travel mounting hole. Now the fork that came on my bike is a Marzocchi Z3 air 80mm. I know changing to a 100mm fork should put back about level with the back, but will 125 (on the Talas) really throw the geometry way out? Would it still be worth getting the Talas if I never used it at 125mm? Thanks again.
