I have this 2002 model fork and based on all the advise on this site i checked the oil levels. i pulled the top caps, fully compressed the fork, removed the springs, and pushed the catridges fully back in. the oil level measures 25mm. way off! i check the manual and it says the proper level is 50-40dx/30sx. what the heck does that mean. what is dx and sx?? so i check the marzocchi website and it say it should be 50mm. confused! so i then download the 01 tech manual and it says 30mm. Someone help!

Ok, That dx stuff is for a shock that has a dampner one side and nothing the other side(no ecc).

You have a 2002, so 45-50mm from the top with springs removed is the correct level for each side. I recommend the 45mm, cause thats what I had in my 02 Atom race 80mm and had no trouble getting full travel and never bottomed out.
