| hmm... | mtbikerTi Jan 10, 2003 11:06 PM | | I can't answer your question as I have not ridden either of those forks, but the 2000 SID XC's used Judy style lowers, which offer more stiffness than a typical SID lower.

I have a 2000 SIX XC on my Klein hardtail and am looking at buying FS and the bike I am looking at comes with the F80 RLT and the LBS is willing to swap it out for an '03 SID Team. My weight fluctuates from 150-160 and I have been very happy with my SID XC and have never really noticed the flexiness everyone else complains about. Maybe the plushness I see in this fork could be some flexiness others feel.
I ride trail and XC and don't do any hucking or any jumps so this fork has performed flawlessly for me.
I would be interested in how much you other folks weigh and what type of riding you do. |
