Jan 11, 2003 12:13 PM | | The Conix gets around having to install a star nut in the steerer. If you've got a star nut in there that you can use, I'd put the Conix in the drawer and get a top cap and bolt from the LBS.
If you're intent on using the Conix, you can pound the star nut down further or carefully drill it out.
