I finally got it back from Fox and they rebuilt the whole thing. It was a 2001 model and is only 6 months old. The warranty covered it.
but I'm wondering if 2001 was a bad year. I'm using mine for a backup
for my Vanilla R. Was the 2001 model defective or are they all unreliable?
