i have a marathon S 100, 02 model. but the fork doesn't have full
travel. is the oil too much? what's the optimum oil level?

Yeah, most likely too much oil. Try running 90cc in the right and anywhere from 30-60cc in the left. Shouldn't have trouble getting full travel with those levels.
