Cannondale Lefty rebuild...Anyone???(2 posts)

Cannondale Lefty rebuild...Anyone???mtb4fun

Hello, I am currently trying to rebuild a Cannondale Lefty fork (2001). I acquired the castle tool and have no problem unscrewing the top section but it appears to be connected internally and I do not want to force it without knowing what is actually holding it back. I have no problem tackling this but do not want to damage anything internally. I came across a website that had step by step on how to do this a year or two ago but cannot seem to find it again. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

The castle tool will not get you where you need to be. The Lefty requires a special 2 piece castle tool. There oil cylinder of the damper is threaded into the inner tube of the telescope. E-mail me for more details.
