Fox Float R problem?(1 post)

Fox Float R problem?006_007
Mar 17, 2003 8:30 AM
I go to prep my FSR for my ride on Sunday, and as I am going over the bike I attempt to check the air pressure in the shock. Problem is I can not get the shock to hold any air.

After cursing and swearing for 3/4 of an hour (and attempting to fix the problem) I opt out of the ride. By now the shock is completely off the bike, and I starts clicking the rebound dial, then attempt to put air in once more. Now it does take pressure. And I can still change the rebound setting.

Has anyone had something like this happen before, if so what was the cause of this situation. Should I get the shock re-built (I think so)

Thanks for any input.

TJ
