Mar 17, 2003 7:45 PM | | According to Rock Shox's website, the '03 Boxxer's can handle a 2.4" width tire - MAX. That just doesn't sound right. As far as I know the Boxxer lowers haven't changed in years and I swear I've seen people running at least 2.6's with Boxxers before. What's the deal?

The difference between 98-02 vs 03 lowers is the 03 lowers no longer have the mounts allowing you to run V-brakes, although why you would want V-brakes on a Boxxer I don't know. (Some of th early 03 Races have the mounts as I gather RS was using up old lower castings.) |
