RockShox Pilot SL noiseKC4

My Giant NRS3 comes with Rockshox Pilot SL. The shock makes noise as if something is loose inside. At landings the noise can be annoying and sounds as if something is going to break! Rockshox does not return the dealer's calls and dealer indicates that this could be the nature of the beast. If so I am going to return bike! Any known Recalls with this shock?? Thanks for your reply

i have had three RS made forks: Duke, Psylo, and Judy.

they all made a clunk sound. at first, i thought it was just my cheap stock judy. then i upgraded to a psylo, and same thing. after that, i wanted to slim down my bike's weight, so i went with a duke... SAME SOUND!

it's annoying sounding at first. then you kinda get used to it.

i don't know for sure about the pilot since it's new, but if all three of my forks are a pattern, then it must be inherent in the design.

i now ride marzocchis and love them.
