May 19, 2003 8:10 AM | | I'm borrowing a '03 marathon SL to see if I'm going to like it or not, but - it seems kinda tall (I'd need the 85mm travel). Is there a visual difference between the 85mm and the 105mm travel versions of this fork? Different color, a little sticker, etc? Does the fork convert from one travel range to the other? May 19, 2003 11:07 AM | | with the longer travel fork, it should be a bit taller thus slackening your head tube angle. When I went from 80 to 100, it took a little getting used to but I think you'll find the longer travel makes for a much better trail fork and the ecc makes climbing a layup even with the slacker angles. |
