Sure, it's vain I admit, but I wanna lose my 2000 X-vert fork boots. Are there any new products out there these days that'll allow me to do this? I'm not interested in introducing mud and dirt into my fork though, so if there's nothing good out there, so be it. Thanks.

I changed them when I had an X-vert Air. It was the same size used on the Black forks. I had no problems with it and it's an easy swap. The fork looks MUCH better too-less primitive. Nothing wrong with vanity.

Quite simply, they rock. Used them on my Judy for the same reason as you and they did a super job of keeping the internals clean. I just recently found out they make them for my '01 XVert Air, so I'm guessing they'll have something for your Y2K model.
